About Us:

Our Client, a luxury 4 star 2 AA Rosette Country Hotel is looking for a Pastry Chef to join the team. They are looking for Chefs with experience of working within a high level busy professional kitchen and a Chef who has worked with fresh food and someone who is creative and passionate in their cooking. in one of the most beautiful areas in the country

The Role:

The Restaurant draws inspiration from both traditional English fayre and classical French cuisine refined to reflect the expectations of our guests. .

The highly skilled kitchen brigade serves up to 65 covers per service with a modern British menu with all ingredients sourced within the area from the best local suppliers and hand picked from the on site garden within the grounds. The menu is seasonal and there is also a specials board which changes daily depending on what the suppliers have in fresh on that day so you will gain more knowledge with frequently changing menus. They also cater for functions and weddings and offer private functions. This role is 4 days on and 3 days off allowing you a better balanced work life.

Requirements:

The minimum 2 years 2/3 Rosettes requirement for all applicants is to have a stable CV with good references. A chef who is able to work well under pressure, cooking with a constant attention to detail is necessary for this position. If you are an enthusiastic Pastry Chef looking for a challenging role where you can develop your knowledge further then this could be the role for you.

Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from you as part of the recruitment process and you must be eligible to live and work in the UK. (Asylum & Immigration Act 1996).
