A fantastic hotel offering high end dining in North Yorkshire is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef
A city centre hotel that has an excellent reputation for dining is now seeking a talented Pastry Chef to manage the busy pastry section and one other pastry chef. This is a varied role where you will be creating desserts for the multi-AA Rosette awarded restaurant; the informal Brasserie restaurant; functions and a popular afternoon tea trade. As Pastry Chef you will have a large input on the menus working closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the pastry section matches the high standards in place across the kitchen and that the desserts compliment the rest of the menus.
A passionate Pastry Chef who has a minimum two AA Rosette background from four or five star hotels. The ability to control a busy section where you will be under pressure to create large numbers of desserts on a daily basis whilst completing admin, training the junior chef, ordering and creating menus.
