Partnership and Outreach Manager - 2 Posts Fixed Term
Glasgow Life is the charity responsible for inspiring Glasgow’s citizens and visitors to lead richer and more active lives through culture, sport and learning. We believe in the transformational power of the services we provide for the citizens of and visitors to the City of Glasgow. As Partnership and Outreach Manager you will work as part of the Mitchell Operations Team to target, engage and retain delivery partners to support the strategic and programme delivery aims and objectives of Glasgow’s first Business and Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC Glasgow), located in the Mitchell Library. You will manage partners’ contractual obligations, ensuring the delivery of a progressive business support menu for Glasgow entrepreneurs from age 16 upwards. A legacy programming structure and framework should be available upon conclusion of the post. Advocacy and raising visibility of the new Service across Glasgow with all potential business networks is also a key part of the role.
To be successful in this role you have the following skills and experience:
- essential criteria -
Ability to influence and work with external partners. Well developed IT skills. Problem solving skills. Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
- desirable criteria/qualifications -
Degree in Information and Library Studies or equivalent Certification (ACLIP)
Extensive knowledge and experience of managing within a business library and information environment
Project management and delivery skills
