We are working with a well-established firm in Northampton looking for a new Partner / Director to join their senior management team. The successful candidate will be a proven business winner, a fee following is desirable but not essential. If you have been a key part of fee growth at your current firm, then these Partners / Directors want to hear from you. Ideally suited to an ambitious and entrepreneurial character, play a key part in examining their structure moving forward. There is real opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Manager with a diverse technical skillset across Audit, Tax and Accounts, to shape both your own job role and the operational management of the firm moving forward.

This role would suit a proven business winner, a Partner / Director capable of developing and maintaining high-level client to business relationships, adaptable to industry sectors and capable of delivering technical across all areas of the firm’s service provisions. You will be a trusted advisor, ensuring that the Practice is the first point of call for all your clients’ business needs. You will play a key role in evaluating and manging existing systems, procedures and operational structure. Where you identify that changes are required you will take a lead role in future implementation.
There are also existing reviews and projects regarding technology, including both internal IT infrastructure and software as well as investigations into how best to utilise new technologies to enhance client service.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ post qualified experience gained within a practice environment working with a varied portfolio of SME’s and High Net Worth Individuals. Duties will include
- Overseeing the full service provision to a portfolio of clients.
- Providing full range
- Reviewing work in progress, monitoring deadlines and budgets
- Assessing the training and development needs of more junior members of staff
- Responsible for managing the workflow and production process
- Responsible for ensuring financial accounts, returns and client projects are completed
- Producing regular financial and practice management information and reports
- Evaluating and managing systems and procedures to help develop the business
The perfect accountant will be ACCA/ACA qualified with 10 years’ experience of working in a public practice firm. Our client is looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm who would like to progress within their career.
