Chess are currently looking to recruit a Partner Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Team in Alderley Edge. You will have great knowledge to deliver outstanding marketing to our partners.

Working with the Head of Marketing in an individual contributor role you will develop and implement Chess’ Partner marketing strategy. The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be creating demand, communicating commercial updates to partners at speed and support partner enablement.

Duties to include but not restricted to:

  • To develop and execute Chess’ partner communication and marketing strategy working with key internal stakeholders
  • Create demand via marketing campaigns and events for key products and services.
  • Achieve lead KPIs and track through to conversion
  • Responsibility for ensuring business critical commercial and marketing documentation is up to date making changes at speed
  • Managing and reporting on partner social media activity
  • Write and distribute press releases liaising with channel press
  • Enable channel growth by supporting partner recruitment activities

Essential Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Track record of developing and delivering a marketing strategy including digital, events and reporting
  • Understanding of website content management systems
  • Proficient in MailChimp
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in managing corporate social media accounts
  • Ability to work independently but deliver to team objectives as part of a close-knit team.

Desirable Skills

  • Tech/IT/Telecoms industry experience.
  • Channel marketing experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple work-streams
  • Multi-channel campaign planning and execution
  • PR experience and working with journalists
  • Experience using Project Management Software

Package Details:

Basic salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience, reviewed annually in May.

Bonus: Discretionary company performance bonus to be paid every 6 months.

Hours: 37½ hours per week Monday to Friday, normal office hours apply.

Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid holiday p.a. increased upon anniversaries, ultimately to 24 days p.a., plus public holidays
