Part Time Ward Nurse - 2 days per week

We are recruiting for a part time Ward Nurse for a private treatment centre in Somerset. A range of treatments and also provide diagnostic services, using the latest MRI, ultrasound and plain film x-ray technology. Treatments and services? include General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Gastro, Endoscopy, Urology and diagnostic.

The hospital has been assessed as top of the national PROMS table from patients having had knee replacements and eighth nationally for hip replacements. In addition, they have recently been rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC putting is at the very top of the regulator's quality ratings across England.

Working as part of the multidisciplinary team you will deliver direct patient care, delegating and supervising care delivery of Healthcare Assistants.

Key duties will include:
* Providing high quality nursing care and support and develop team members as appropriate
* Assessing and accurately maintaining clinical observations of the patient, escalating as indicated when variances occur
* Taking charge of the ward in the absence of more senior staff
* Being responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential records multidisciplinary team you will deliver direct

Essential Requirements

  • NMC Registered General Nurse
  • Experience in a surgical ward (desirable)
  • Up to date clinical skills in venepuncture, ECGs, IV, medications

This service is open Monday - Friday you will be contracted to 24 hours 2 shifts per week salary FTE £26,000
