A sensational Primary school in Southwark are looking for a part time PPA Teacher to begin after the Easter break 2021.

The Role:

A dynamic teacher is required at a brilliant Primary School in Southwark. The role is to begin after the Easter break and there is potential for this to become a permanent position for the right candidate. This is an extremely sought after position as you will be working across Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 to cover class for class teachers who have allocated Planning, Preparation and Assessment time throughout the week.

As a long term member of the class you will be required to maintain the high standards of the usual class teacher however there will be no lesson planning duties. The role is part time so suitable for parents or teachers looking to take a step away from a full time position. Likewise there will be opportunities to pick up more supply days in the school if desired. This role is due to start in Easter and will finish in July at the end of the Academic Year. This is a longer term role and will be 2 days a week.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching both the Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 UK curriculum however the school are happy to consider strong and dynamic primary teachers of varied experience. QTS and an enhanced DBS are mandatory requirements for suitable applicants of this role.

The school is located in the wonderful borough of Southwark and is in close proximity to several tube stations and therefore easily and quickly accessible from most areas of London. This is a well-established school with a strong Headteacher and SLT leading the school. The school is in partnership with several other primary schools in Southwark and there are big plans for this group of schools to work together.

This is an Ofsted rated 'Good’ school. Wellbeing and mental health is valued at this school. The atmosphere of the school has been described as busy but friendly and staff will often socialise together on a Friday afternoon.
