Our client is a one of the largest and oldest friendly societies in the UK and we have an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Publicity & Events Support Executive to join their team at the Birmingham Branch covering the West Midlands area. To be successful in this role it is essential you have your own transport.
In this role you will work 5 hours a week, so you must be mobile and willing to travel to support the events organizer hosting events, giving talks, distributing flyers, getting contact details for attendees etc.
Our clients’ aim is to improve the quality of life for their members through active social involvement, care support and a range of financial benefits and services. There are 129 Branches nationwide who are supported by a central office in Manchester.
The principal aim of the role is to help and support the Society to deliver the social element to its target market which is predominantly aged 50+. Social activity must be accessible and attractive to both existing and prospective members.
The Birmingham Branch provides a range of social, care and financial products & services to members in the West Midlands area. As Part-time Publicity & Events Support you will support the Events Organiser with hosting events, giving talks, distributing flyers and getting contact details for attendees and to attract more members in the Solihull and Birmingham areas.
To be successful for the role of Part-time Publicity & Events Executive, we are seeking someone who is:
• Flexible with your time and willing to work weekends
• Fit and active, social and able to travel around Solihull, Birmingham and eventually covering other areas of the West Midlands
• A person who like to chat to people and is comfortable talking to new people,
• Can work well with others
You will receive a salary of up to £10 per hour, dependent on experience with fully expensed travel.
