Your new firm
You will be joining a well-established five partner accountancy practice, who have three offices across the UK including Wrexham and Chester. They are looking to appoint a part-time Payroll Assistant to join their busy team in Wrexham (Rossett) for 16-20 hours per week.
Your new role
As a Part-Time Payroll Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the payroll team with running the end to end payroll process for a portfolio of clients. You will be required to generate new starters and process leavers, P11D's and issuing P45s and P60s at year end. This role will see you run the payroll for clients with varying staff levels from individuals to those with approximately 60 employees on a variety of basis' from weekly to monthly and four weekly.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have experience working within a Practice within a Payroll position. You will be up to date on the latest legislation in relation to Auto enrolment, RTI and Tax codes. Experience of software's such as Sage Payroll, Bright-pay and/or Xero will be beneficial. You will need to be an organised individual who is capable of working to strict deadlines and you should be able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients alike. You will live locally to this Wrexham based job, and be available to work 16-20 hours per week.
