As Payroll Manager you'll be solely responsible for start to finish processing of around 75 weekly and monthly client Payrolls of varying size using Sage Payroll.
This will include setting up new PAYE schemes, processing starters and leavers, calculating Statutory Payments, Tax & NI calculations, Auto Enrolment Pensions Administration and submission of RTI to HMRC.
You'll also be dealing with client Payroll queries and liaising with third parties including Pensions providers and HMRC.
The ideal candidate for this position will have considerable experience processing multiple Client Payrolls from start to finish using Sage Payroll, and have previously worked in a sole capacity.
They will have a strong understanding of current Payroll legislation and experience of RTI submission, Auto Enrolment and calculation of SSP, SMP, SPP etc.
Additionally, they must have excellent written and spoken communication skills, be highly organised with a high level of attention to detail, and be able to provide outstanding customer service.
