Part-time Payroll Clerk

Joining a successful firm of Accountants in the Poole area, you will be responsible for undertaking client payrolls for a variety of different companies. Duties will include processing monthly, weekly, fortnightly and four weekly payrolls including starter and leaver information, resolving issues relating to NEST, setting up new companies and auto-enrolment process on IRIS payroll, reviewing payroll information and assessing any extra information is needed, as well as liaising to ensure information is accurate. You will need to calculate SSP / SMP / SPP, pension deductions and holiday entitlement, as well as submit RTI to HMRC, including earlier year updates.

The company are looking for someone part-time, who can work 5 shorter days per week, between 20-30 hours per week. This would suit a candidate who has worked within a bureau environment or firm of accountants previously, although the company are happy to consider those with strong payroll experience. Previous use of IRIS would be an advantage, though training can be provided.
