Part-time Payroll Clerk

Our client is a well-established firm of Accountants in the Poole area, who are seeking a new Payroll Clerk to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be undertaking a variety of client payrolls on a weekly, monthly and fortnightly basis, running the payrolls from start to finish. Recent hands-on payroll experience will be needed, as this role requires a candidate who is fully up to speed with all aspects of payroll including RTI, auto enrolment, etc. The company uses Iris software, so experience of this would be an advantage, though not essential at all as the firm are happy to provide training on this.

The firm are seeking someone who can work 20-25 hours a week, ideally working 4/5 hours per day spread over 5 days, so this may be the perfect role for those who are looking to work school hours. There could also be some flexibility about how these hours are taken. Those with previous experience working within a payroll bureau or firm of accountants may have an advantage, though this is not essential.
