Part-time Payroll Administrator

Nelson Chambers are recruiting for a Part-time Payroll Administrator to join our client in Benfleet.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining the payroll for all monthly and weekly staff
  • Process starter and leavers forms
  • Maintaining sickness, absence, overtime and holiday records
  • Produce all Payroll reports
  • Implementing the annual pay review process
  • Updating payroll documents and processes as required

Person specification:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Advanced level excel
  • Knowledge of all up to date payroll legislation
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting packages, in particular Sage 50 Payroll
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Be planned and organised
  • Able to effectively work to deadlines


  • Salary - £23,000.00 per annum, Pro-rata - £13,800.00
  • Monday - Wednesday, 9AM - 5.30PM
  • Benefits package includes pension, staff discount schemes, childcare vouchers and 28 days holiday
