Our client is a small IFA firm based in St Albans, due to continued growth they are seeking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join the business on a part-time basis. The client can initially offer c10 hours per week, however business is very buoyant and as such this could increase.
You would have a great deal of flexibility, working the hours that suit you, with the option of working from home. The client has an office space in St Albans, should you wish to be office based the working days would be Monday & Thursday.
The client will supply ongoing training and support, laptop and expenses. Offering c£10,000 on a part-time basis, 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays).
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the pensions market, produce case work and suitability reports and recommendations ready for the adviser to complete.
Key responsibilities include:
- Produce illustration and key features documents
- Research fund information
- Produce Selectapension TVAS reports
- Evalue Cash Flow reports
- Setting up client valuations and reviews case files
- Upload casework onto Intelligent Office.
- Research using software inc. Selectapension Defaqto
- New business - prepare blank application forms
- Investment fund analysis
You will need to have a working knowledge of one or all of the following systems: Intelligent Office, Selectapension, Defaqto, Engage, FE(Analytics) and Evalue Cash Flow.
You will have either started studying towards your diploma, or be motivated to study towards further professional qualifications. The ideal candidate will have completed one or more papers RO1, RO2, RO3, RO4 & RO5.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional IFA. The business can offer a great deal of flexibility, whilst they are based in St Albans this role could very easily be based anywhere in the UK working from home.
