Part-Time Payroll & Pensions Data Specialist (Brighton, 2 Days a Week)

We are offering a fantastic part-time role (22.5 hours/week) in Brighton, where you'll work 2 days a week supporting payroll and pension projects. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience, with training provided, while working closely with the Head of Payroll and Deputy.

You will lead smaller projects, including improving and automating processes to save time, enhance data quality, and add value. Strong Excel skills are essential, as you'll use them to integrate and organise reports from payroll software (ResourceLink) and other sources. Prior experience with these systems isn’t required—we’ll provide the training you need!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll and pension reporting projects.
  • Use Excel to analyse and manipulate data (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • Handle data requests, ensuring accuracy for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide support for general payroll and pensions queries.
  • Identify process improvements and work on solutions that drive efficiency.

What You'll Need:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accuracy with sensitive information.
  • Experience in a payroll, pensions, or finance environment (desirable but not essential).
  • Keen attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

This is a great opportunity to grow your skills, receive training, and be part of a supportive team. Apply today!
