Pertemps Recruitment require a temporary Mailroom Assistant on a part time basis, to join a leading client in the Bishopbriggs area.

Working for a Facilities Manager provider, you will be placed on site with one of their clients, who are a major contact centre. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 1pm - 5pm. Rate of pay will be £9.00 per hour.

Duties/Responsibilities;
  • Perform service duties as required to support the achievement of SLAs and quality standards
  • Flag any issues or service failures or issues to line manager
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and liaise with them in a professional and helpful manner at all times to resolve basic enquiries, escalating issues as required
  • Produce timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly MI, and submit as required
  • Complete all training within required timescales, ensuring compliance with compulsory courses, and enabling flexibility of duties to support the service
  • Support the wider team by being flexible in delivering whatever reasonable activity is requested by line manager to ensure that resources are best utilised across the team
  • Communicating well within team and with line manager to ensure all duties and tasks are completed on time
  • Be aware of safe working practices, and maintain a tidy and safe work area
  • Ensure all required stock levels/consumables are maintained and any damaged or faulty equipment is reported to your line manager promptly

Skills/Experience required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to achieve agreed deadlines
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Diligent, conscientious attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to persuade and influence colleagues and clients in a professional manner
  • PC literate and competent in Microsoft Word / Excel
  • Client focussed and strives to exceed client expectations
  • Previous experience of onsite services (mailroom, repro, archiving, print and enclosure) is preferred
  • Self-aware and able to be self-critical, to enable continuous development and self-improvement
  • Personable and willing with a 'can do' attitude
  • Will take responsibility to deliver outstanding service at all times
  • Professional appearance and business-like manner
  • Able to pass a credit and security check
