Part-time KS3 English Intervention Teacher in Stockport

Are you an outstanding Intervention Specialist, or English Teacher? If so, then do not hesitate to apply for the following role in one of our Stockport schools. The school are looking for an experienced Intervention Specialist, or qualified English Teacher, to join their team as soon as possible.

The school has an excellent reputation and was recently graded 'Outstanding' in every category. Students in the school are well behaved and respectful with a true desire to learn, whilst staff work very hard to develop and encourage students every day. Students have consistently over achieved in examinations, year on year, and the school seeks a candidate that will continue to deliver these high standards. The school has excellent links to Stockport and Manchester centres. The role itself is part-time, working on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver some English lessons to KS3 students, in Year 7 and Year 8, as well as work on a 1 to 1 basis with Year 7 students, providing targeted intervention in English.

The role is to cover a vacancy and will begin immediately, running through until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate MUST:
* Be an experienced Intervention Specialist, Hold Qualified Teacher Status or be a Newly Qualified Teacher
* Display high levels of passion and enthusiasm for English, with sound subject knowledge
* Possess good behaviour management skills and have high expectations
* Have the ability to teach English to KS3 students

The successful candidate will receive between £80 - £120 per day. You will also be fully supported by Tradewind Recruitment and the school, receiving great CPD from both parties.
