Part Time Inventory Analyst

Reed are currently recruiting for two part time Inventory Analysts to work for a prestigious company local to Abridge. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-12.30pm or 10am- 2pm. 

Key responsibilities:

- Optimise service levels to customers within business unit and the supply chain as a whole
- Negotiating appropriate delivery/ordering strategy and controlling supplier performance.
- Achieve stockholding and wastage budgets for own portfolio and ensure appropriate actions are taken without impacting supply.
- Work in partnership with Trading teams to ensure that Trading activities are identified and complement Supply-chain goals and vice versa.
- Ensure that range review, promotional and new supplier activity is delivered to a required standard and on time
- Develop relationships with Third Party Suppliers and consolidators/hauliers to ensure that inbound supply service levels and supplier constraints are optimised.
- Develop strategy to maximise backhaul revenue streams.
- Plan, manage, deliver and review all seasonal and promotional, range review activity affecting Supply Chain processes.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have intermediate excel skills and previous procurement or supply chain experience.
