Part Time HR Administrator (3 1/2 days per week)

Morton Steel is delighted to be working with leading UK charity Penny Brohn to help them find a part time HR Administrator. Penny Brohn specialises in a whole person approach to helping people live well with the impact of cancer and this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the amazing work that they do. Reporting into the HR Advisor and based in beautiful offices in Ham Green duties will include:

  • New starter administration including preparing contracts and taking references
  • Preparing letters and payroll notifications in response to staff changes
  • Ensuring DBS checks are carried out and that staff records, and clearances remain up to date
  • Collating and monitoring employee details regarding professional status, regulatory memberships and insurance
  • Recording and monitoring absence, flagging queries or concerns to the HR Advisor
  • Providing recruitment administration support to the HR Advisor
  • Completing the leavers process

Person Specification

  • Previous HR administration experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and multi-task
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible approach
  • A good eye for detail
  • Ability to understand best practice and the need for confidentiality
