Working alongside Consultants, Specialist nurses, AHPs and non-clinical staff your role will include supporting clinical staff to deliver safe patient centred care, chaperoning, patient assistance, tidying/cleaning and “set up” of the outpatient clinics per session. You will be expected to take information from patients face to face and over the phone and pass this to the relevant practitioner. You must therefore have excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Other duties include efficient management of equipment and stock by means of IT systems. Vital sign recording and phlebotomy skills are essential for this post so training will be given where required. You will need to work independently and have the ability to work under pressure. An ability to prioritise your own workload is crucial. Previous hospital or caring experience is desirable.

You will be expected to work flexibly across Tayside to meet the needs of this service. These hours will be worked over 4-5 days.
Hours of work are: 28 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
