Your new role
This is a maternity cover part-time role(18-22 hours per week), acting as job share with another Finance Manager.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you will lead on day to day finance matters and contribute to the strategic business plan of the school through your financial expertise. Your role will include: financial planning and cash flow management, budgetary control, production of the monthly management and financial accounts pack, managing the day to day finance, ensuring accurate and timely financial records and robust financial controls. You will be encouraged to identify and implement new systems and procedures and will liaise with auditors.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally possess an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA). You will demonstrate significant
experience of managing complex budgets an up to date knowledge of financial best practice. You will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to influence outcomes and the ability to organise, prioritise and delegate. You will have experience of leading, motivating and inspiring a team to achieve excellence.
