Your new company
Based in Renfrewshire, our client is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant on a part time basis for an initial 2 month period. There is the potential for a longer term role for the right candidate. The contract is for circa 14 hours per week and there preferred days/hours of work are Monday and Tuesday 8.30am - 5pm. The role does not have a fully confirmed start date as of yet but it likely to be June/July when current restrictions are expected to have been relaxed to a certain extent. The organisation is accessible by public transport and there is also an on-site car park.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, your duties will be split across accounts receivable and accounts payable. Tasks will include but will not be limited to; invoice processing, payment processing, reconciliations, query handling, reporting for management, cash and banking duties and general associated finance administration.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have proven experience within both accounts payable and accounts receivable. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will handle queries from internal and external stakeholders via email, telephone and face-to-face. Your workload will be varied and therefore good prioritisation skills and the ability to manage a high volume workload is required.
