Our client is a growing business based in the middle of Newcastle City Centre are looking for a part time Finance Assistant to join their team.

Working 25- 30 hours over 5 days our client is looking for an experienced hard working individual.

Hours to potentially increase as the company grows.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the following;

Sales Ledger
Monthly invoicing.

Debt Collection
Invoice and cash postings to accounting system.
Updating and reconciling job costing system.
Maintaining fee forecasts and invoicing schedules (Excel).
Monthly control accounts.

Purchase Ledger
Purchase order matching.
Invoice and cash postings to accounting system.
Sub consultant invoices reconciliation and forecasting.
Monthly expenses.
Credit card reconciliation.
Monthly control accounts.
Budget reconciliation.

Cash Book
Postings to accounting system.
Maintaining Excel cashbook.
Bank reconciliation.
Petty cash.
Any other ad hoc Finance tasks.

You must;
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Have a hard working attitude
