Our client, an established and successful business based in Melksham are looking for a versatile, multi-talented person to undertake a combined Bookkeeper and Administrator role to work directly with the Managing Director.
This is a varied role that will require adaptability and good team working ethics, you must be able to operate to strict deadlines and handle conflicting priorities. The ability to work under your own initiative, keeping calm under pressure is key. The successful candidate will be required to work unsupervised to meet deadlines therefore somebody with previous experience in bookkeeping will be essential.
Duties will include:
- Day to Day Bookkeeping duties (competent working up to Trial Balance
- PAYE and Pension
- Financial Reports
- Bank Reconciliations
- Admin Support including data input, answering telephone enquiries and face to face customer service
Please note that due to the nature of the role; working hours comprise of alternate weeks:
- Week 1 - Monday - Thursday 9.30am to 5.00pm
- Week 2 - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30am to 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 4.00pm
