Our client is seeking Part-Time Book Keeper to operate either from home or within their London offices (close to Liverpool St. Station).

Roles and responsibilities :

Analysing finances to determine risks and to create forecasts for cash flow. Prepare monthly accounts in accordance with companies timeline. Analysing data to support business decision-making. Payroll. Processing bank payments. Bank reconciliation. Liaising with invoice discounting company (Lloyds). Report weekly on the status of accounts payable and receivables. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Internal auditing to ensure compliance. Credit control. Prepare, send and electronically store invoices. Keeping xero up to date with real time data. VAT returns. Assist with tax audit and tax returns.

Processing payments and paying suppliers. Paying weekly contractors and raising issues relating to their weekly payments (for example not receiving time sheets etc). Reconciling financial statements. To set up an electronic filing system that has a 'one stop shop’ for ease of access for CEO. Ensuring accounting procedures is compliant with regulations. Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions. Develop and implement time efficient business processes. Attributes for this role

Confidentiality. Advance knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principals and procedures. Advance knowledge of accounting software. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills both with the internal and external customer. Advance knowledge of Excel. Aptitude for numbers. Proven working experience. To be professional at all times.
