An opportunity has arisen for four experienced Assistant Cooks to work at an education facility set within stunning grounds in South Birmingham.
You will report to the Cook on duty and be responsible for producing meals for students, staff and visitors, catering for diverse cultures, vegetarians aswell as people with dietary requirements. You will be required to serve food from the hot counter, washing up and setting up the dining area.
The successful candidates will have previous experience of high volume cooking, experience within a similar environment is advantageous.
You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent and hold a basic food hygiene certificate. You will have a good standard of education to GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in English and Maths and basic IT skills.
My client is also looking for candidates who are willing to gain their first aid certificate.
The days hours available are as follows:-
- Assistant Cook – 7.30am – 1pm – Thursday to Saturday
- Assistant Cook – 7am – 2pm – Saturday to Monday
- Assistant Cook – 3.30pm – 8pm – Sunday to Wednesday
- Assistant Cook – 3.30pm – 8pm – Thursday to Saturday
