Change Recruitment are currently managing the recruitment of an Import / Export Administrator to join a leading Wellington based manufacturing client on a part-time temporary basis until the end of September.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for supporting the import and export activities of the business, reporting to the Import / Export Co-ordinator. This role will act as an administrative support for the end to end import / export process. This will include updating of shipment trackers, communication to all relevant parties to ensure clarity of arrangements. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting with inbound / outbound booking processes to ensure all deliveries have warehouse booking slots and transit arranged. You will be providing assistance with all relevant queries including, invoices, customs, damaged in transit and stock discrepancies as and when required.
This role would be well suited to an experienced Administrator who is fully conversant with Microsoft office (Excel & Project). You will need to possess excellent communication skills and deliver an exceptional level of customer service. Ideally you will have experience of working within a Supply Chain / Procurement based position, or at least possess knowledge of relevant processes.
This role is a part-time (20 hours per week) temporary position until the end of September 2018. Working hours are Monday - Friday (09:00 - 13:00).
