Part Time Administrator

We are currently recruiting a Part Time Administrator for a new and up and coming organisation based in Dorking. The role is to support the current Office Manager. An excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to work part time.

Job Description:

  • Carry out all administrative tasks in a confidential, timely and accurate manner
  • Manage business correspondence to a professional level
  • Maintain computerised and manual filing systems
  • Manage the company social media presence as directed
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers such as Accountants, IT, Payroll and HR advisors
  • Ensure all bookings and reservations are taken accurately
  • Undertake filing, archiving and data management
  • Ensure adequate levels of stationery are kept and re-order as appropriate
  • Consistently work in compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations
  • Recommend improvements to administration procedures and systems
  • Project a positive and professional image at all times

Person Specification:

  • Previous administration essential
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner - excellent client care/service
  • Able to build rapport with the clients and other staff members
  • Can solve most problems independently
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experienced and adept with use of social media
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise depending on the needs of the business
  • Must be self motivated with a good work ethic

Additional Information:

  • Based in Dorking
  • £13,000 - £14,000 (depending on experience)
  • Wednesday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:30pm (must be flexible to cover for colleagues absences / suit the business needs)
  • 18 days holiday including bank holidays (based on 30 days pro-rata)
  • Auto-enrolment Pension
