Great flexible part-time telephone role!

A brand new team member is wanted to join a very busy insurance broker's high street team.

The role is a customer facing, varied, friendly Telemarketing one - blending wide-ranging customer contact, data input, data cleansing, phone work, team work and there is genuine flexibility on hours and days worked.

You will need strong phone skills, organisational, IT & case management skills, re-prioritising a changing / evolving personal workload, sound Excel Word & Outlook experience.

There is no selling / advising - just qualifying leads, relationship building and communication (speaking with customers), data cleansing and updating the customer database.

There is the Chartered Insurance Institution's Diploma (CII Diploma), which is funded by the employer, available to every team member.

The role is supporting the busy Branch Manager and his team who are giving customers better, cheaper or more comprehensive insurance cover for all personal lines AND commercial insurance classes from employer's liability to vans and tools, taxi's to Marine insurance. You will play a key part in winning customer's trust and loyalty through a listening approach, great customer service and your memorable personality and attention to detail. An all-rounder is vital.

There is no hard-sell, cold-calling or telesales to stale or wary ex-customers. There ARE lots of leads, referrals and customer contact. You will be part of a friendly, professional team.

The hours are flexible. You work 9.30 am to 2.30 pm Monday - Friday plus some Saturday mornings 8.30 to 12 midday (on a rota, between 3 in 4 and every other Saturday morning). It could be from 3 to 5 weekdays per week with times / hours to suit school runs, childcare etc.
