Part Time Administrator/Bookkeeper

This is a part time role for 22.5 hours per week. The company is flexible about how the hours are worked so it could be 3 full days a week, or 5 part time days. The duties include office administration, some basic reception duties such as greeting visitors and dealing with enquiries, and some telephone duties. On the bookkeeping side a knowledge of sales and purchase ledger is desirable, along with petty cash reconciliation, and other general accounting or bookkeeping tasks.

Skills in MS Office are essential particularly Word, Excel and Outlook along with good IT skills. The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator with a personable manner who is able to interact with both staff and visitors effectively. They will also need to confident numerically, ideally with some basic accounts or bookkeeping experience.

This is a small office, and the ability to adapt to different tasks and be flexible is essential.
