Part-time Accounts Clerk - Central Leeds

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a successful and growing retail client. They are looking to identify a part time Accounts Clerk (21 hours a week).

Role:

The Accounts Clerk role forms part of a small Head Office Team in Central Leeds and is easily accessible by public transport

Duties will include:

  • Controlling all aspects of Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger

  • Preparation of VAT returns

  • Submitting quarterly reports to Office Manager

  • Backing up accounts on a regular basis

  • Liaising with suppliers; dealing with a wide variety of enquiries, reconciling statements, taking discounts and ensuring prompt payment of accounts

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar finance role
  • Sage 50 experience
  • Have good all round IT system skills
