An Accounts Assistant position is available within a growing business based in Leicester. As part of the finance team you will be responsible for general finance administration & processing payroll. This role is perfect for those experienced in an all-round accounts position and would enjoy being a part of a friendly team. The role is on a permanent, part time basis of 17.5 hours per week. 

Key responsibilities include:

- Process weekly/monthly payroll
- Full Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger management/processing
- Manage monthly expenses
- Process journals/bank payments and reconcile to nominal ledgers
- Cash log management, producing forecasts
- Preparing payment schedules and logging purchases
- Ad hoc duties, assisting the overall finance team

About you:
- AAT Qualified or soon to be qualified
- Intermediate Excel and good knowledge of Access systems
- Able to work efficiently on their own and think on their feet
- Excellent experience of an all-round accounts position

Those with good numeracy skills and a keen to build good relationships would suit this role.
