Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a permanent part-time Accounts Assistant (16-20 hours) within a fast growing SME Manufacturing business.
Your new role
In your new role as Accounts Assistant you will be chasing outstanding debts via telephone and email working to debtor days. You will be responsible for keeping the credit recovery system in order and chasing outstanding high value invoices. You will undertake some payroll processing, you will process purchase ledger invoices and be responsible for bookkeeping and invoice entry reporting directly to the Accounts Director.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have recent and relevant experience of bookkeeping or accounts administration and be experienced in processing purchase ledger invoices. You will have experience of chasing outstanding debt and credit control. Previous experience of invoice financing and invoice letters of credit will be highly beneficial. You must be a highly organised individual able to manage your own time and work on your initiative. You will be proficient in Excel and accounting software. AAT qualified or studying towards is desirable or equivalent.
