Part time Accounts Administrator

An Accounts Administrator is required on a part time basis for a manufacturing organisation located close to Penzance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and successful business and work in a settled and efficient team.

Watson Evans Associates are keen to hear from experienced Accounts Administrators based within a commutable distance of Penzance and are seeking a new opportunity on a part time basis. The role is for c.24 hours per week and open to discussion on how the hours may be made up over the week. It is available immediately and will be accompanied by a salary with a full time equivalent between £16,000 and £20,000.

You will be working under the guidance of the Financial Controller and will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Payment runs
  • Ensuring all records are accurate and complete

You will need to have previous experience of working in an accounts or bookkeeping orientated position, along with a good understanding of MS Office, in particular Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
