We are pleased to be working with a respected Cardiff based wealth management firm who are recognised as being specialists in their field. Our client is looking for a Part Qualified Paraplanner to join their team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with paraplanning experience looking to progress further in their career.
About the role:
As a Paraplanner, you will provide support to Financial Advisers and clients while delivering a high level of customer service.
The position and duties will include:
- Assess new and existing client cashflows ready for cashflow meetings and annual strategy meetings.
- Produce solutions to meet client needs and objectives by using research tools.
- Prepare suitability letters and reports to match the client’s objectives and risk profile.
- Gather all information to enable suitability tetters and reports to be produced.
- Processing and allocating investments to platforms and placing/buying/selling trades.
- Complete annual ISA reporting.
- Produce specific client portfolio reporting.
Key Skills/Experienced Required:
You will be working as a Paraplanner currently and working towards your Diploma in Financial Planning. You will have in-depth knowledge around pensions, investments and cashflow modelling and have excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Due to the nature of the role, you will have strong administrative skills, be highly numerate and analytical. This is a fast paced role which requires a high attention to detail so you must be able to prioritise and effectively manage workloads on a daily basis.
