The Parent and Family Learning Team are looking to recruit to our supply list.
Our aim is to provide a range of parenting and family learning opportunities across Perth and Kinross. These include: Infant Massage, Incredible Years, Peep, Play on Pedals, Community Cook-it and Strengthening Families.
The ability to work in a team situation is essential and a flexible approach to working with parents and families is required.
We are keen to hear from suitable candidates who are able to work varied hours from a few hours per week to full time.
For the role of Parent & Family Learning Assistant there is no entry requirement however experience in delivering parent and family learning is required. It would be an advantage to have training to deliver the above courses.

You must have experience and skills in working with parents, young people or children.
You must be able to evidence professional development in a relevant area.
You must have experience in assisting in the engagement, development and delivery of community based learning (organising groups and delivering learning programmes).
Ideally you will have experience and skills in group work.
You must have a commitment to working towards the concept of inclusion.
Proven IT and computer skills.
Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and communicate effectively with others.
Experience of effective team working.
You must have a flexible approach and be able to work at various times, locations and situations.
