An immediate opportunity is now available for a Paraplanner to join a well-known Wealth Management company based in Bournemouth, Dorset.
We are ideally looking for someone who is already working in this, or a similar role and can bring the following to the organisation.
- You possess a minimum Level 4 diploma, or equivalent financial qualification from a recognised professional body. You are also continuing to develop your professional skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, as is a high level of numeracy, utilising calculators and spreadsheets to achieve results.

As a Paraplanner you will support their clients, advisers and all other staff to ensure that you deliver the correct outcomes. Drawing from a wealth of pensions and investment experience and training you are instrumental in ensuring the suitability of the advice given by our regulated advisers, be this by suitability report, or email, or other means.
The main aspect of the role is to work with assigned cases, assess the Know Your Client data already obtained and ensure that any gaps are addressed. Following extensive analysis of the data, you will work with the advisers to propose the recommendations required to address the client's financial objectives and needs, obtaining the required quotes, illustrations and compiling the relevant means of effectively communicating the recommendations to the client.
You will also check and validate the work of colleagues by way of a peer review.
You Will be able to use your expertise to assist with the resolution of complaints, to help with the training and development of other staff and to work alongside our proposition team to help evolve our proposition by developing new procedures, controls and communications.
You will need to be able to build and maintain strong business relationships, both with colleagues and partners in order to ensure that we can meet our commitments to our clients.
