Paraplanner - Cardiff

Recruit UK are working alongside a Financial Planning firm in Cardiff who are looking for a Paraplanner to join their expanding team.

Working closely with the support team, you will be required to provide efficient paraplanning and administration support to their financial advisers where your duties will involve elements of report writing, compliance, research and general financial services administration and data maintenance.

To be considered for this position you will have at least 2 years relevant experience in paraplanning and report writing with an analytical and methodical approach. Ideally you will hold FPC or equivalent, be on your way to obtaining level 4 alongside the willingness to develop your skills and qualifications further. Ideally you will have an understanding of Intelligent Office or Intelliflo and O&M knowledge.

It is a very friendly, positive environment so you will be a team player, hard working with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Additionally, you will be able to hit the ground running and will have a professional approach at all times.

Furthermore, you will act as an additional liaison regarding new and existing research for the company and be pro-active in participating within practice meetings, so a professional appearance and demeanour are essential for this post as is having strong organisational skills, technical knowledge of Microsoft packages and financial systems.

In return, the successful applicant will receive a salary c£25,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress within a well-regarded company.
