Talented and experienced Paralegals, Legal Assistants or Legal Executives (CILEx or FILEx) are now required by our progressive client who is a successful private practice law firm in the centre of Manchester specialising in Debt Recovery Litigation.
Due to increased workloads, Paralegals, Legal Executives or experienced Legal Assistants are now required.The roles will be based within their specialist departments including:
Suitable candidates must have a minimum of one to two years experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Executive in one of these specialist areas within a UK law firm and will be confident in handling their own files and working with modest supervision.
The roles will involve:
Administrative tasks relating to transactions
Working closely with other fee-earners, researching and analysing data
Opening files and preparing case notes
Client liaison and communication in person, by email and on the phone
Taking ownership of cases and working with minimal supervision
Litigation and Court work where appropriate
Passionate and enthusiastic to progress their legal career
Good IT skills including Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised and efficient
An effective team player
Strong time management skills
Good academic record including a Law Degree and/or LPC qualification or ILEX, part or fully qualified
A professional approach when dealing colleagues and clients alike
