Prestigious law firm in Exeter are currently looking for a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to work in their Conveyancing department.
Working closely with fee earners the role is demanding and will require good organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, willingness to take initiative and to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will be confident and professional with a good telephone manner. Previous experience in legal sector is essential for this role. You will play a key part in the office and will be deemed an integral part of the team.
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
- Dealing with enquiries over the telephone and via email
- File management
- Word processing legal documents and amending/editing documents
- Providing admin support and assistance within the office
- Liaising with Clients and any other 3rd parties as necessary
- IT Literacy
- High level of numeracy
- Clear and concise written and spoken English
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Team worker and able to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
