Paralegal - Employment - Manchester
DWF is seeking to recruit two Paralegals to work within the Employment Law team in our Manchester Office on a full time basis.
Ideally candidates will have some employment law knowledge or experience of working in fee-earning positions.
You will be required to demonstrate technical and commercial expertise and the ability to deliver results within required time frames in order to provide the highest service level to external clients whilst demonstrating and communicating a clear understanding of business needs/changes to internal clients.
You will have personal responsibility for a caseload of Employment Tribunal cases. On a daily basis this will include:
Working as part of a team to handle Employment Tribunal claims for variety of insured employees and employers. This will involve assessing the merits of these claims, drafting court pleadings, taking witness statements and generally having day-to-day conduct of your files.
Ensuring, in conjunction with the team, that cases are progressed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Working with our valued and long-standing clients to understand requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice.
Prioritising work effectively and maximising efficiency in working practices.
Building stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
Developing your technical and commercial knowledge via training or working practices.
