£23,423 per annum (rising to£24,656 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:00

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our Planned Maintenance team based in Aberdeen. In this role you will form part of a small team, working across Aberdeenshire on planned works projects (kitchens, bathrooms & cyclical works). You will be preparing and completing all jobs to a high standard, ensuring Health and Safety compliance at all times and occasionally contacting tenants to arrange appointments. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills through the relevant and up to date training that will be provided.

About you

Your recent experience within the trade combined with your excellent customer service and communication skills will be crucial to your success. You will have a prior knowledge of taping, filling, patching up and wallpaper hanging and the ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload and plan ahead. Due to the scope of the role, a company van and tools will be provided for business use only, therefore it is essential that you hold a full, current driving licence.
