Paid Social Media Campaigner

We are pleased to be working with an award winning client, currently looking to recruit a Paid Social Media Campaigner!


The role is to support the company’s marketing strategy to achieve targets through the use paid social media channels. In addition, the role will support the team in initiatives to develop campaigns in line with the brand and creative vision. Manage the execution of the paid social media strategy to support campaigns, including but not limited to:

Develop and provide recommendations on budget allocation across all paid social media channels to achieve acquisition targets

Execute a clear framework for moving prospects down the sales funnel leveraging the social media paid channels

Provide recommendations on new and emerging paid social media channels and ensure the department is kept abreast of all new innovation in the channel

Decide on target audiences in line with marketing strategy

To be responsible for the execution and optimization of all paid social media campaigns oFacebook Advertising campaigns eg:YouTube advertising campaigns, Twitter, LinkedInadvertisingOther social media channels (Snapchat?, Instagram, etc.)

Develop and manage acquisition campaigns in line with the marketing strategy

To provide timely, engaging and consistent campaigns to be used across social media paid channels and across the team to deliver targets

Proactively lead the creation of campaigns across the team

Work proactively alongside all content and creative producers within the team to ensure campaign collateral is optimized to deliver conversions and acquisitions

Provide reports, insights and best practice 

Deliver campaign reports to analyse 

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Proven work experience as a Social Media (Paid) or Digital Marketing Officer 

Ability to develop and lead acquisition campaigns across the department 

Excellent writing skills; proven ability to produce high-quality, clear and persuasive campaign material 

Extensive and demonstrative experience of working with and managing paid social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) 

Able to provide best practice and stay on top of innovations in paid social media channels and SEO 

Close collaboration with content and campaign producers across the team to maximize and optimize paid social media advertising

Good organisational skills, able to 'multi-task’, with ability to meet tight deadlines

Proactive, and able to develop creative ideas for campaigns to acquire new customers 

Balance of strategic skills to identify marketing opportunities and trends as well as tactical pragmatic marketing implementation skills; 

Broad strategic analysis skill set complimented with a detail orientation 

Strong analytical and presentation skills, knowledge of Analytics to produce comprehensive reports on campaigns and inform best practice 

Educated to degree level Desired 

Willingness to occasionally travel when necessary 
