The Paid Social Account Director will have 4+ years' experience in this position, and will be responsible for planning, building and delivering paid social media campaigns across multiple social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. You'll be responsible for delivering campaign insights using both the platform specific insights dashboard and analytical tools such as Google Analytics.
This is a strategic role which will manage an AM and an AE initially, and will assist in growing the Paid Social team.
Work with the Head of Performance to design a new social offering for the agency, ensuring we stay ahead in terms of innovation and ideas.
Assist the senior leadership team with new business pitches
Manage Account Executive(s) : training, line management and personal development
oEnsure the AE sets up and optimises client campaigns
Support with strategy and planning across new business and new campaigns - to include good knowledge of delivering media plans, social targeting plans, implementation, tracking performance and delivery of campaigns across platforms.
Day to day contact with clients and social networks reps.
Campaign performance - work with AE to produce report and delivering insights for campaigns, including recommendations for optimisation tactics and additional tactics to improve performance.
Work in an integrated way with the rest of the disciplines (e.g. paid search, programmatic, display etc).
Always be on top of what's new in the industry to be able to find the best tactics to deliver performance for our clients.
Work closely with the Business Partner, Account Directors and the rest of the cross-channel team to ensure tracking is implemented correctly.
Work with social networks to ensure that campaigns are planned according to the client's objectives and needs, and go live in a timely manner.
Ensure all financial accruals are up to date.
Ensure that client status reports are up to date.
Willing to learn to use campaign management tools the client might require to use for specific campaign (e.g. Spinklr, Bionic etc)
Very good understanding and experience of the advertising platforms for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube.
Client management skills.
Strong analytics skills. Fully confident in use of Excel, including pivot tables, reporting and analysis uses.
Innovative and proactive thinking on all client activity; always be one step ahead.
Good communication skills on a professional level - both internally and externally
Passionate about the media industry on and offline, and in particular, social media
Good writing and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
Organised and methodical, with excellent time management skills - ability to work autonomously
