This role is a senior position within the business and the expectation is that you will grow and manage your own team within the business.

As a PPC Specialist, your main responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of advertiser accounts. You will be working either directly, or indirectly with advertisers to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. You’ll also leverage your analytical skills to troubleshoot issues in the complex AdWords backend, and to optimize the performance of your accounts. In your role, you will be expected to utilize your passion for teamwork and the Internet to provide outstanding customer service to help improve the performance of AdWords advertisers.

Our client is looking for a PPC Specialist to join their fantastic team, in a very key role as a Paid Media Specialist in Fleet, Hampshire. Our Specialist will play a central role in the team, focusing on the strategy, implementation and daily management of PPC accounts accross a range of clients and platforms. The ideal candidate will have worked within a digital marketing agency in a Paid Media focused position and be able to provide evidence of running successful campaigns across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintenance of paid search and display accounts across Google AdWords and Google Display Network
  • Ongoing keyword, audience and competitor research to ensure campaigns are maximising their reach to the right audiences
  • Write creative and effective ad text to enhance ad performance
  • Write accurate design briefs for ad creative
  • Controlling budgets and ensuring campaigns are driving quality leads into the business at
  • Daily optimisation of ad accounts, utilising data-led decision making as well as appropriate testing techniques (e.g. A/B or multivariate testing)
  • Use of the latest programmatic marketing theory, practise and platforms, demonstrating understanding of when manual bid management is preferable
  • Analysing and reporting on campaign and channel performance
  • Strategy development for all managed paid media campaigns
  • Generation of client facing monthly and ad-hoc reporting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Keep bringing new ideas to the team and completing any new AdWords specialisms
  • Have fun and enjoy work every single day

Skill Requirements

  • 18+ months experience of running paid media campaigns
  • Must be commercially and business minded
  • Solid knowledge of the AdWords and Google Display Network interfaces
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality score and Ad rank
  • Ability to optimise an account in line with a target CPA or ROAS
  • Solid understanding of relevant platform metrics
  • Experienced in keyword research
  • Experienced in bid management
  • Experienced in data-led ad testing, including A/B and mutlivariate testing
  • Experienced in competitor analysis
  • Liaise clients and develop strong client relationships
  • Able to explain account performance to both new and existing clients
  • Knowledge of landing page optimisation and testing
  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Google AdWords Search Certified minimum
  • Desire to stay up to date with all industry developments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a range of DSPs, including DoubleClick, Facebook Ads Manager and Amazon AAP
  • Experience in planning creative display campaigns, including effective visuals and messaging
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics, including setting up comprehensive website and conversion tracking
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Understanding of good UX/UI in relation to improving landing page performance
  • Wider understanding of popular digital marketing channels (e.g. SEO and social media marketing) and how they impact / interact with PPC
