Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist - 3 Days Per Week
Florence Associates are looking for an experienced and motivated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team of independent therapists.
The role is to provide a high quality Speech and Language Therapy service within a mainstream school in Ealing, West London. The school is a great environment to work in.
Teaching staff are welcoming of SLT support within the classroom and SLT input is well established within the school.
The position is for 3 day per week (term time).
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Paediatrics which will include working within a mainstream school environment in the UK. A strong knowledge of the UK schools system and the role of SLT within the education system, including experience of conducting EHCP Assessments is also required.
The post requires a therapist who can independently manage a caseload and prioritise their own workload, whilst remaining flexible to meet the needs of the school and its pupils.
The school have an established specialist resource base nursery class which support students with identified SLI. You will form part of the teaching / therapy team within this class for the equivalent of 2 days per week. You will also offer SLT intervention to the mainstream school students on the remaining 1 day per week.
The position offers a rewarding and varied caseload to the successful applicant.
The successful applicant will be registered with the HCPC and have a clear DBS Check.
Previous experience of supporting students with SLI, SLD, Developmental Delay and ASD will be beneficial in the role.
The pay rate is dependent on experience within the range of £28 - £33 p/h.
