Packing Manager

Our client is a global employer who are pioneers within the chemical solutions industry. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join their company as a Packaging Manager.

Based at our clients manufacturing plant just south of Cambridge, this is a key role working within the Packaging department and we are exclusively looking to recruit a candidate who is technically minded, performance focused and able to manage a team to deliver change and results.

Working Monday to Friday 8.30am til 5.00pm and with the flexibilty to be on hand with various shifts, the key functions of this post will be to lead your team, manage day to day performance, train and induct staff and monitor costs, budgets and produce forecasts.

You will also have responsibility of overseeing new product introductions and scheduling accordingly.

This is a full on role that will require you to utilise your management and planning skills whist operating to the highest level of health & safety.

We are looking to hire a candidate who is results driven whilst not compromising on quality. You will have experience of working within a packaging or similar manufacturing environment and experience of working with chemicals would be an advantage.

Knowledge of process management systems and lean manufacturing techniques are crucial for success within the role.

Our client are looking to appoint as soon as possible and can offer an attractive salary range of £33000 - £38000 per annum with some flexibility for exceptional candidates, plus a host of benefits such as private healthcare, bonus scheme and pension.
