PA to MD Up to £35k

Our Central Manchester Financial services client are looking for an experienced PA for a 1-1 support role to the MD.

As a Personal Assistant, you will be required to provide pro-active, confidential, responsive, and high-quality administrative support to the Managing Director North and at times the Northern leadership team.

You will be the lead organiser of corporate hospitality for the Northern region so you will need to be efficient and adaptable with the ability to multitask.

This is a fast-paced role and therefore the ability to organise and prioritise tasks is a key requisite. With access to confidential information, the role always requires absolute discretion.

A high degree of professionalism is always required as well as excellent customer service skills. This role will interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders, provide business support, and help manage projects when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive diary management/support for the Managing Director inc travel arrangements and expenses.
  • Prompt preparation for meetings both internal and external, including attendance and minute taking.
  • Provide detailed MI and collate data when required by the Northern Leadership team
  • Organise travel requirements as and when required
  • To be responsible for ad hoc projects as required by MD North.
  • Lead organiser for calendar of corporate events.
  • To be involved in the organisation of office events, conferences, and charity events.
  • Chair of the Sports and Social club for the North.
  • General office management inc procurement and local facility management

Risk & Compliance:

Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous PA experience at a senior level
  • Professional communication skills
  • Experience of interacting with a wide variety of people in the workplace
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Focused attitude and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Pro-active approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
