PA / Practice Manager

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Directors to ensure that the practice runs smoothly
  • Supporting the Directors to ensure that the building runs efficiently and smoothly
  • Supporting the Directors with all administrative duties
  • Organising travel for the Directors
  • Organising diary for the Directors
  • Finances and expenses for the Directors
  • Petty cash
  • Assisting Director in financial administration, invoice filing
  • Tracking and reporting holidays and other absence for all employees
  • Monitoring inventory and then ordering stationery and other office equipment
  • Supplier liaison
  • Post
  • General Housekeeping duties
  • New employee induction
  • Managing IT requirements and liaising with Director
  • Liaise with Operations Director to ensure process documents and procedures pertaining to the operation of the office are kept up to date

Requirements

  • PA and office administration experience
  • Financial administration experience
  • Proficiency in standard office packages
  • Sage experience is desirable, but not essential

As a key part of our small team; attitude is everything! You will need to be highly efficient, organised, be able to multi-task and prioritise accordingly. Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner are a must. You will have strong attention to detail, a 'hands-on’ approach and be capable of independently completing required functions whilst also liaising effectively with other team members.
