Team PA - The Role
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced PA or administrator!
Our Planet is an exciting and ambitious collaboration between multi-award winning natural history filmmakers Silverback Films (UK), Netflix and WWF, centred on a ground-breaking eight-part natural history series due to be released on Netflix globally in spring 2019. Our ambition is to bring a greater understanding of what’s happening to our planet, engaging with a global audience, and telling an irresistible and important story to ultimately inspire as many as possible to protect our world and support our conservation work.
The Our Planet Department is based in the UK, but leads on bringing together our teams and partners around the global WWF Network to plan and deliver one of our largest and most important projects. This is where your first-class administrative skills come in.
We want you to support the Executive Director, and assist the Project Support Manager to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Department’s operations. This will involve taking responsibility for administrative tasks, supporting the building of internal and external relationships, as well as taking on varied ad-hoc projects to support the team. You will manage diaries, coordinate meetings, organise travel and process expenses. You will also maintain effective communication with the Our Planet core team, workstream leads and external partners. We will look to you to update systems and records as well as help with reporting, preparing events and general administration.
Team PA - Requirement
You will be an experienced PA or office manager with strong administrative skills. You will be used to coordinating multiple tasks across small teams on projects dealing with multiple complex stakeholders. Expert in MSOffice, you will be good at maintaining databases and managing internal systems. You will also possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will have an eye for detail, a flexible approach and the ability to use your initiative to get things done.
Who are we?
WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive.
Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.
That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action - tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.
WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
